Kroger Pharmacy

My wife and I have been using this pharmacy for ourselves and our two children for >20 years. Staff are invariably friendly, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. They know us by name and greet us with a smile. EDIT (7-18-25): In the last few years, I have been commuting to a job in Illinois, where Kroger's affiliate, Mariano's, operates. Because of my itinerant lifestyle, I have had to juggle prescriptions between the Westerville Kroger and the Elmhurst Mariano's many, many times. The staff at both pharmacies know me by name and are always very helpful and patient. They consistently go the extra mile to get my prescriptions filled when I find myself out of medication and not in the city I expected. As many times as I've tried resolving issues with my auto refill and getting either a text or email from them, it's never fixed. I get no notifications on my refills. They never have my prescriptions ready when they should and the online refill service never gets processed. I truly need to go somewhere else.

I am extremely upset with this location. I had a few questions and instead of being helpful, they rushed me off of the phone because the were closing in 2 minutes. You answered the phone so why couldn't you help me and not make it feel like I inconveniencing you because heaven forbid you stay 5 minutes after you close! I have better customer service skills at my cashiering job and have stayed over 30 minutes or more for my customers. I don't get people who get away with this stuff. I would be fired for treating a person like this!

After many incidents of poor service, I decided today to never use this pharmacy again. The straw that broke the camel's back was the pharmacy manager challenging my truthfulness publically that one of her staff had not told me that my prescription would be ready at a certain time. Other instances of poor service include multiple occasions of telling one thing only to find out later that the first person was incorrect. When confronted, the response is always denial. Other pharmacies Treat like a customer, and not as a nuisance.

The staff have always been helpful in answering any questions regarding my prescriptions & they have always been filled in a timely manner. I feel very fortunate for the good service at this pharmacy.
