Kroger Pharmacy

We as a family use this pharmacy quite often. As a previous pharmacy technician when I was younger, I know how difficult and stressful this job can be dealing with insurance, doctors offices and patients can be very tricky when they have their arms tied. I just want to recognize a few of the technicians who are always cool calming collected no matter what the situation may bring. Chad, Jamie, Anya and Micshelle. If they’re not smiling, when they come to the window, they end up smiling during our time. People need to be recognized more often and need more good reviews on how hard they work instead of only looking at the bad Kroger Is a big pharmacy and not everybody is willing to get a job or work right now so I know it is rough but they keep everything Under control as well as never rushin

Husband went for biometric screening. Nowhere on their booking site does it say you have to meet certain criteria or be there for a job or insurance purposes. Talked him out of it, was told it was a "waste of time and money" (our money, our problem, we were doing it for annual screening benefit through a preventative plan we have), and they couldn't "figure out" how to charge for it. Hounded him until he decided not to follow through and left. My recommendation is for you to add these requirements to your booking site so a patient doesn't needlessly fast and drive to an appointment, only to be snubbed and talked down to until they cancel. Sounds to me the pharmacy staff wasted more time trying to get out of work than just doing their job 👎

Switched to Kroger pharmacy bc the other pharmacy’s are short staffed and would never answer the phone. Kroger pharmacy in Shelbyville Ky have amazing employees. Marshel ( can’t remember how to spell her name) but she always somehow makes me laugh and just brightens my day when I see her. Need more people like her in the world.

We're generally satisfied with the service we receive here, with a few exceptions. Read on. This has been the primary pharmacy for our family for several years. They usually, but not always, have the prescribed medication available. At times two or more day pass before they can refill a prescription that we refill on a recurring interval. The explanation: "it's on order." Sometimes, but not always, they can fill a prescription within an hour, but occasionally not until the next day because they are "busy." They have only one drive-through lane, not two like most pharmacies of comparable size, resulting excessive delay. It's usually faster to park, walk into the store and stand in line rather than use the drive-through. They usually, but not always, answer the phone in a timely ma

Had to transfer a prescription to this location due to availability of the meds (city of Louisville was out of stock). Such friendly staff and very helpful. Highly recommend this pharmacy.
