Kroger Pharmacy

Not disability, friendly staff. A pharmacist accuse me of getting nasty because I simply said the prescription they filled had an error in it and used the word “impossible.” I was then accused of being nasty for questioning an error in my dosage. I asked how I was being nasty and it was because I used the word “impossible” to be instructed to take two pills a day with only 30 pills. I usually get 60. My disability affects my vocal tone and flat affect, and I made sure to explain I can’t control that. But my choice of words was at no time “nasty.” They must just hate their job, but that’s not my fault.

I used to shop at this Kroger quite often and tried to fill a prescription here once. After dropping off the prescription I filled a cart full of groceries and heard my name over the loud speaker about coming to the pharmacy about my order. I hauled my cart over there and was told to go to another pharmacy to fill my prescription. I asked if they were out and if I could just come back another day? He just repeated to go to another pharmacy. After my recent issues at another Kroger pharmacy, I'm no longer advocating for them. Giant Eagle pharmacy has been nothing but friendly, communicative, and prompt.

I’ve never wanted to review a pharmacy before. In fact, I rarely write reviews. But this has to be the slowest pharmacy I’ve ever used. Literally 30 min can go by before the car in front of you moves through the drive through. It feels like the drive through is low priority for this place. Additionally, they close the drive through frequently making it difficult for people with mobility issues so they have to stand in line. This place is poorly managed. Will be moving scripts.

Denied prescription because the line was too long, even though I was in line well before the 7pm closing time. I understand that the line was long, but to deny multiple people, who were even behind me, our medications and have no remorse or other options available is despicable and morally wrong. It is not ethical for a pharmacist to deny a patient their medication because they don't want to stay late. I was in line 20 mins before closing. Unacceptable Alex - I have reported you to the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy. You have broken your Hippocratic Oath as a Doctor and should be embarrassed for how you treat your patients. If this is the new Kroger Policy to just randomly decide to stop serving the pharmacy customers even though they were in line well before the closing hours that

Never had any issues with prescriptions- always customer service friendly. Even have called to ask if prescription can be filled earlier than “expected” and I was told yes. Thank you Kroger pharmacy for your wonderful service. You have a loyal customer for life.
