Kroger Pharmacy

The majority of the time, the medications are never ready when they should be. I can see that they’re overworked and usually you can work out any issues you have without too much frustration. They are usually cheap and location is easy. I have encountered a few employees that clearly hated their jobs and I chose to ignore it, but a few weeks ago, I dealt with a woman who should’ve been let go long before now. My prescription wasn’t ready when I came to pick it up, like usual, but this time, I had waited three days for it to get filled. I had called and spoke to people three different times about it, so I could confirm it was actually ready so I wouldn’t have to return. When I explained that to her, she just said, “well, it’s not.” So I ASKED if I could wait there for them to fill it. She d

DO NOT use this pharmacy unless you have no other choice. I have tolerated poor customer service due to the lower price drugs. However, today I am no longer willing to tolerate rude, disrespectful service from them. The technician came to the counter as if she was doing me a favor. No eye contact. No smile. Nothing but attitude. She cut me off when I was giving my name (which I usually follow-up with my date of birth) by asking for my date of birth. Then got the date wrong and had to ask for my last name to find my prescription which she then had to confirm my date of birth again. Then I am told that my prescription was not ready even though I had received a text that it was ready. When I objected, in raised voice told me I would have to wait for the pharmacist to review it. Kroger please hire more help for this location. They are very busy and never seem to have time to help properly. They have messed up on my prescriptions, one time they couldn't locate my prescription when it was showing ready, and even said I picked it up one time when I didn't. They just have bags of prescriptions laying around everywhere, so no wonder my prescription got lost. I just hope it wasn't given to someone else by mistake.

Don’t know why the other reviewer would give three stars for nice drive through and friendly service. This has been my new pharmacy after moving to Belhaven area. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I will note that I was unable to get a common prescription filled in a timely manner (worker told me it would be at least a week on my time-sensitive med) in the past and had to use the Kroger in Madison. But other than that I’ve had good experiences.

I’ve been using this pharmacy for almost two years now and I’ve never not had an issue with my medication. Multiple times I get a notification that my prescription is ready and I show up to get it to be told it will be a 30 minute wait. I can count on one hand how many times I’ve been able to pick up my medication smoothly. The only reason I use this pharmacy is because I shop here and for location reasons.
