Kroger Pharmacy

Absolutely abysmal. I don’t blame the employees of the pharmacy as much as i blame Kroger management. I have multiple medications needed monthly, and this place has the WORST retention of qualified individuals to run its pharmacy, resulting in your medications not getting filled or incredibly long wait times. Do NOT use this pharmacy for any reason whatsoever. They have had incredible turn over - and have such a lack of staffing. Your phones will NOT be answered; you will wait in line for at least 20-30 minutes on a given day. I tried to ensure a refill was made for three days - and no one answered. Then, the lines were so long whenever I’d go to pick them up, that I’d have to leave and return to work. In addition, I will say that the employees must not know what they are required to do

After a few years of what many considered to be the worst pharmacy in Harrisonburg, I must say that over the past several months it has become our favorite again! My future spouse, who had transferred most of his numerous scrips to Walmart, for better service, recently transferred them back to Kroger. The line of disgruntled customers has disappeared; prescriptions are ready as promised; and the pharmacists and techs are caring, knowledgeable, trustworthy and polite.

I used to think a lot of this place, went for many many years. However since the staff has changed overtime so has the service. Got there today at 4:30 and it was after 8 p.m. when I finally got my prescription. There has been a lot of turnover all of a sudden and medicine has been sent home with me that was the wrong prescription along with paperwork that has belong to other patients. I can no longer say I would recommend this place for anybody and I myself and my family will be switching pharmacies. I've had issues getting a very important medicine that I've got for nearly 3 years now. Last time the only gave me 1/2 of my pills. Does not deserve even one star. My family member was 5 hours from home visiting Harrisonburg and had a medical situation and so we ended up at MedExpress. My friend in which (owns a Pharmacy locally) referred us to get his medicine there as it was a Saturday late afternoon *5:20pm* and the hours of Kroger Pharmacy was open until 6pm and within walking distance. Talking with the pharmacist at around 25 minutes till 6pm (also closing hour) the pharmacist was working alone and said he was closing early and would not be filling our much needed prescription. The level of professionalism and care for humanity was a bare minimum as this pharmacist was more interested in getting out of the working Oliver office and onto his weekend. This is where I go to get my medicine. There is always a long line. And they are always messing up on my medicine. I get a message from them saying that my medicine is ready to be picked up. When I go up there to pick it up it's never ready. This happens every single month. there's also one of my medicines that they never have in stock. But they know I come back once a month to fill my medicine here. This Kroger's I would not recommend to anybody. It is the worst service worst pharmacy I have ever experienced by far. Do not go here because you will leave very upset.
