Truly eye opening that our Healthcare system is flawed, and that noone is brave enough to do anything about it because they will lose there jobs and there wage. Got a concussion and was having eye problems, blurry vision, etc. And it was getting worse, I was to the point where i was genuinely worried for my health. I thought something was terribly wrong, I showed up about 5 minutes late due to lots of traffic, (still on time to receive care), then I went to go check in , and they refused me care because I was more than 15 minutes late at that point because I was waiting for my turn to check in at the front desk. I said to the lady, " really, that's absolutely ridiculous, I think something is seriously wrong" and she didn't even say anything to me or look at me at all. So I just walked out.

Dr is amazing! My 2 kids have been going to her for years. Getting a hold of the office is an absolute nightmare! Long hold times, not going directly to Allentown or Bethlehem office. The person taking the appointments is in NY. I was on the emergency line for over 20 minutes while my daughter is having an eye emergency while sitting in her college class 1400 miles away. They need to change the telephone systems to more personalized patient care. The office staff is great, but the long wait time to get ahold of anyone is near impossible. Years of this frustration has made me write this review.

I love Dr. Knappenberger!!! I started seeing her a couple of years ago, and now my kids see her, too. She is amazing!!!

She was one of the rudest professionals (I use that term loosely) we’ve ever encountered. Completely indifferent to my husband’s other medical issues, which made his participation in the exam difficult. It was quite apparent she was in a hurry to be done with us. We’ll go without glasses before we go back to her.

I see Dr. Knappenberger for my contact lenses. My prescription is unusual and can be difficult to get right. She has my prescription right where it should be and I am quite happy with my experience here.
