I started my journey with this doctor in July (well, tried), and from the beginning the experience felt impersonal and transactional. Communication consisted of required pre-recorded videos instead of real conversations, clearly designed to avoid answering commonly asked questions. For a major surgical procedure, this was concerning. Before a consultation could even be scheduled, I was required to upload multiple personal photos. The consultation itself was virtual, which again felt detached for something so significant. It took over 3 months from my initial outreach to get said virtual appointment.
