Korean LTC at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center

I was hospitalized for 3 weeks because I needed a place where nurses and doctors are taking care of me while my family member is sick. In one word, the experience was stellar and phenomenal. Everyone there is very kind, knowledgeable, supportive, and compassionate to their patients and do their BEST job every time it’s their shift. I enjoyed the recreational time that awakens the body and mind and the Korean food is top class. If I need nursing home long term next time, this is the place I should be involved in.

My in-laws were living in New York and both gotten sick around the same time. Between two of them, 4 hospital admissions and 3 different Rehab Center in 3 months. I needed to find 24 hours skilled nursing care facility in New Jersey. I knew of Bergen New Bridge Korean long-term care unit that provides exactly what they needed, and it was in Bergen county where I live. Korean staffs, food, activities and more. I started the process of transferring them to New Jersey not knowing how or how long it will take. With national chains and recommended local facilities, I was very disappointed in the care and the staff. When I contacted New Bridge Korean rehabilitation, I was immediately comforted by the director Mrs. Rosa Kim. When we met, she explained their directive and having conversations, I knew she was a caring professional and person. When I toured the facility, I felt the care given was different from others.
