Dr Korboi Evans of The Greater Washington Orthopaedic Group (at the Holy Cross - Silver Spring office) is very professional and listens to you. The total experience, from the reception desk, to his assistant, and Dr Evans, was very easy and comfortable. They even took another xray to make sure nothing was missed in the evaluation of my scenario. The attention and care for the patient, me, was very clear that they all care about your wellbeing. I had a horrible car accident a few years ago. Both knees were damaged—cartilage, ligaments, and a meniscus. The previous surgeon addressed these issues; however, the left knee remained painful. In the meantime, I was diagnosed with Lupus and Fibromyalgia. This complication made the doctors avoid performing surgery on me. And I found this excellent, amazing, God-sent angel who agreed to help and did a great job on my left knee. The surgery was successful, and my recovery is going smoothly. I contacted Dr. Evans for a second opinion about the arthritis in my hip and in hopes of finding a surgeon who would offer more care and concern than my prior ortho. Dr. Evans is the real deal. He's not only knowledgeable but he took the time to explain my condition to me in detail and with care and to let me know the advantages of a hip replacement at this stage. Dr. Evans and his surgical team displayed the highest level of professionalism and warmth during my surgery. He also made sure I could set up therapeutic devices to facilitate my recovery in my home. I highly recommend him as a surgeon.

I researched several Hip Replacement Surgeons in the Silver Spring area + 1 surgeon that a family member referred me to outside of my area. I decided on Dr. Korboi Evans FAAOS based on his credentials and his positive reviews on many sites. I had very painful degenerative arthritis in both hips. By the time I went to see Dr. Evans, the right hip was bone on bone. The right hip surgery was done in June 2023. I appreciated the work that Dr. Evans and his team did and had the left hip surgery in November 2023. Both hips are now pain free. In April 2024, I was able to complete my goal of doing a half marathon in the 50 states. Dr. Evans advised, no running☺️, so I walked it. Dr. Evans is an excellent surgeon & great communicator and I have recommended my friends who have hip or knee pain to
