KK Dental North Brunswick

I came to the practice through a dental emergency service, having a tough insurance situation and needing a root canal. They got me in on short notice, were helpful and genuinely friendly, and did everything with respect and attention to detail. These are very good people who are very good at what they do.

I am a new patient with KK dental and I have to say not a very good first impression- called to reschedule my appt and I guess I caught Liza ( front desk NB location ) at an off moment where her job was just too much for her to handle because she gave me every excuse for not checking for a weekday for rescheduling - When I told her maybe i will cancel- she literally hung up on me. I called back and spoke with another individual who actually did their job and I was able to find an accommodating alternative… Totally unprofessional

I’ve been coming to KK Dental for a couple of years, but my most recent visit was really disappointing. We arrived on time, and one patient who came after us was taken in before us. There was no clear explanation. When we asked, we were told they were “cleaning the room,” but it took an unusually long time and honestly felt more like an excuse. It also seemed like they were triple-booked. They couldn’t even finish my filling because the schedule was too packed, which is very frustrating. I understand offices get busy, but overbooking patients and then rushing or delaying treatment is not acceptable. I’ve never experienced this kind of disorganization at other dental offices. I hope they improve their scheduling and communication, because long-time patients shouldn’t feel overlooked.

I've been to the North Brunswick office several times now. I was very impressed with the efficiency of the office staff. They were all very pleasant and knowledgeable. I was also extremely satisfied Dr.George Athansio my periodontist. He took the time to explain my options, and he definitely was knowledgeable and professional. Dr.George is an incredibly warm and caring dentist. I have nothing put respect for his capabilities. I would highly recommend KK Dental, and especially Dr. Athansio.

I am writing to share a distressing experience I recently had with KK Dental in Somerset and to see if anyone else has faced similar issues. I scheduled an appointment for February 3, 2026, to see a specialist regarding a prior root canal. Despite being told over the phone by Yana that my x-rays had been received, I was asked for more upon arrival. The dentist then recommended a CBCT-scan but could not confirm insurance coverage. A receptionist, Priscilla, claimed she checked with my insurance and stated the scan was not covered, quoting me $921.00 out of pocket. She repeatedly pushed payment plans and FSA options, even though I expressed my discomfort with these suggestions.
