Kinzua Nursing and Rehabilitation

On behalf of Mr. Freeman Mayberry, my dear friend, and whom I consider a surrogate father, I took care of for many years….until he needed 24 hour care, for the sake of his own well-being, and others…He is in good spirits, Clean and well taken care of at Kinzua manor. I still call him Dennis the Menace… when I saw him today to bring him his favorite things, He had a smile on his face, and plenty of his shenanigans to speak of. For a man that took care of so many veterans, and created Liberties Way Church of Christ, the homeless shelter in Lander for our warriors in need, I Honor him every day And appreciate all the wonderful people that work there, and make sure he’s Able to still be himself, but in a comfortable and secure environment…. Kinzua is a nice quite home, seemed to be nice staff. The staff are all busy, one of the attendants showed me how to get to my cousins lunch room. They sure have alot of twists and turns to the hallways. The attendant that was taking me to see my cousin led me past a beautiful outdoor garden. There was no one out there at that time ,( lunch time ) the area is enclosed so no one can wonder off. They have raised flower beds, trees, bushes and concrete walks. Kinzua home was nice and clean, there was no clutter in the halls. They had a area, in the twists and turns that looked like a common area, they were doing crafts. You have heard the good, now for the bad or soso. You have the beautiful gardens, they need one for the unfortunate few who cannot and are kept contained for there own goo

The staff that I interacted with were very friendly and helpful! And they had an event getting set up, so it seemed like the residents were going to have a fun evening after I left!! It seems like a very upbeat and happy place to be!

Thanks for the loving care and comfort you provide for my grandmother aiding her on her physical rehabilitation journey!! Anyone I've had any interactions with when visiting her have been nice, helpful and decent. Thanks again!!!

Very disappointed in the Care my Mom received, she was transferred there for Rehab from Pittsburgh, I know that is a tough ride she was totally out of it, she couldn't even move her hands or grip anything, the nurse came in and said "make sure she keeps drinking water" She had a curtain between her and her roommate which was disgusting not sure if there was blood on it or something else. Very dirty they did come in and clean and change the curtain. After the third day the decline in my mother's health i told them she needs fluids they did get a bag going . She was there just a little over 4 Days no plan on place she ended spiking a fever,we asked a few questions on vitals like her temp.and they couldn't give an answer I kick myself for not sending her to the ER sooner We heard such good t
