Kingsway Arms Nursing Center

I’m grateful to the staff at Kingsway Arms for providing an atmosphere of kindness and respect for my father in law in his final months. Every time we visited we were impressed with the thoughtfulness and sweet nature of the staff caring for him that day. Our only complaint was that the hospice nurse could have done a better job supporting the family, but that is minor compared to the excellent care provided for my father in law. We are so lucky he was able to get a spot here.

Out in the community you may want to address staff members behavior, especially wearing Kingsway apparel, shirts, ID etc. Human beings of a certain age are not old, because we have grey hair doesn’t mean we’re useless. These are some of the comments I’ve overheard out in this town, your building facade may look inviting but if this is your staffs ignorant mindset, I’d never put a family member here. Not the first encounter with this mentality.

I can only share my father's experience and my family's. All the employees at Kingsway treated my father with respect and dignity through his time there. They cared for him not only as a patient but a friend. I felt like part of a family when my family was there. They truly cared. All I can say is if there is an issue advocate and talk to someone there, because they do really care.

Kingsway is the top local senior living facility. As a family owned business, the team pays attention to every resident and it's truly a family atmosphere. Having known several family members and friends who have been at Kingsway, I enthusiastically recommend every level of their continuum of care.

Staff need to focus on RESIDENTS! What's with all the cellphone activity? Infuriating to see aides focusing on their phones when they should be feeding residents unable to feed themselves!
