King Speech Therapy Services

Finding King Speech Therapy has been such a blessing! We had previously sought out services for our 3 yr. old that didn't lead anywhere productive. Victoria, the owner, has been so helpful and kind from the start. She listened to my concerns as a parent and was quick to get us in for an evaluation/start speech therapy. She also did the work to confirm that our Aetna insurance was able to cover the services that my son needed. Their office is warm and welcoming with lots of fun toys/games/learning resources. We work with Ms. Emily and she is great at figuring out what motivates and keeps my son engaged so that he truly enjoys his “speech school”. My 5 year old son has been a student of Mrs King for 2 years now and we are so thankful we found such an amazing and caring teacher. As a busy working mom, her practice has been very accommodating with working with our schedule. Mrs King, getting to know my son, really listened to our concerns with his speech and his personality. She was able to create treatment plans that catered to his way of processing language, especially being a gestalt language processor. She is an amazing advocate and helps with evaluating and recommending advice for IEP goals. Being a mom of an autistic son can be sometimes overwhelming with all the therapies and advocacy we have to do but Mrs King makes the process so much easier. Wonderful experience! My 5 year old daughter's speech improved significantly after speech therapy sessions with Ms. Emily. I was able to understand her better, and she was able to express her needs more clearly. King's is a kid friendly environment with kind and thoughtful staff. My daughter was always excited to connect with her therapist. I could tell that the other children there were also happy to be there. I would definitely recommend to any parent whos child needs speech therapy.

We absolutely love King Speech Therapy and feel so fortunate to have found them. From our initial assessment with Victoria to each session we’ve had with Miss Iris since, it has been so nice to have them to help my son. I was anxious about it all at first, but they eased my nerves and took away any overwhelm. My son has improved so much. We’re just so thankful and highly recommend them to everyone we know.

Ms. Victoria is an excellent SLP! She is kind, patient, and I can tell that she really enjoys helping kids. My 4 year old son enjoys going to speech class; there is always a variety of engaging activities. He has been going for three months and we are already seeing progress. Some of my family members couldn’t understand what my son was saying just a few months ago, and now they are able to understand most of his speech, which is huge.
