King Soopers Pharmacy

More often than not the pharmacy there does not have enough of a pain medication I have been taking for a few years. I've learned to call before I go to check on availability. Last week the Asian pharmacist said if call again he will flag my account and shut it down. The only reason he have a reason to do that is if I continueually call and ask for my perscription early, which I have never done. I have switched pharmacies. The staff have always been great.

I hate to write this review but I feel like management should be aware of this. I had a prescription called in and had to wait for pre authorization before it could even get filled. After the pre authorization went through, I called the pharmacy to make sure it would be filled. The pharmacist I spoke to said they had to order it and that it would take a couple of days. I replied that it was no problem and that I could wait. I receive a phone call the next day from a pharmacy technician asking if I am going to come pick the prescription up. I verified that I was and that there was no need for them to think I wasn’t going to since I have picked up all other prescriptions before in the past. They said it would be ready the next day. This is hands down the worst pharmacy i've ever dealt with. I have had the same prescription for several years, and every single month, they screw it up. I have to wait for them to get the medication every single month.And they never have enough, so i'm always without medication 2 weeks out of the month

I wondered why they had such a low Google rating, then I went in and saw what a mess it is. They can't fill any prescriptions in a timely fashion, the prescriptions aren't ready when they say they will be, and they can't even transfer them to a pharmacy that can actually help. After driving for an hour across town to pick up medication they said they could fill, only to arrive and hear a bunch of excuses, wait 30 more minutes only to go home empty-handed, I am done with Kroger pharmacies. Also, the person they put out front is rude, dismissive, and exactly as intelligent as he looks. Just go to Walgreen's; at this rate they are going to give someone else's medication to someone and send them to the hospital.

The older lady with the brunette hair is always so kind although she has no control over the fact that it can take 3-5 days to get your prescription refilled. They tell you to call it in 48hrs in advance, they'll tell you it's ready them you show up and they want to tell you to come back at the end of the day. If the pharmacist can't handle filling prescriptions in a timely fashion then he should be released from his duties. They'll lie to you and try to say you never called in the refill or blame it on their computer system for saying it is ready.
