Kindred Hospital Louisville at Jewish Hospital

My husband was a patient there and left for rehab. He would never have been ready for that without Kindred. Their therapy department is great and so is their nursing staff. Our family is very grateful to Kindred.

One of my close relatives was recently hospitalized here. The nurses and therapists were awesome which was assuring to our family. They really went the extra mile to make sure that all of his needs were met in a timely fashion. Thank you Kindred staff!

My father had an ugly experience at a nursing home rehab facility. He had a bed sore that needed surgery and care. He spent over a month at Jewish Kindred hospital dealing with this and being septic. Dr. Desai and his team were awesome. They took wonderful care of my father. They did excellent work at taking care of his needs. I cannot say enough good things about their wound care unit. But also, special shout outs to the nurses Ariel, Tonya, Tony and the CNA Diane. Along with the caseworker, Jessie , her boss Cynthia, and Tracy the coordinator. They all went above and beyond with their care for my father. You cannot, I repeat, you cannot, go wrong by putting your loved one in their care.

My husband was a Kindred for almost a month. The respiratory care team was amazing. Some of the nurses are the best I have every come across. Not only are they knowledgeable, but they are friendly and very caring. He only met people who truly care for what they do from Angel, the wonderful woman who cleaned his room, to Nate, the super caring respiratory therapist who never minded getting him a cup a coffee when he was asked. I wish I could individually name every single nurse, aid, OT/PT/ST, house cleaning and respiratory care therapist because of all of you, my husband is getting better and will be home soon. You all will always hold a special place in my family's heart and we are forever grateful for the care you gave to Randy. THANK YOU!!!

If I could give this place a 0 I would. The worst experience ever. We were in town for a family getaway when my husband started to not feel well and wanted to go to the ER. The ratings on this place is a joke. The people there spend more time on their phones, taking pictures of patients and showing others and laughing about it, dropping the F word nonstop and being down right rude. After 7 hours in a hallway while my husband in clearly in pain and walking right by him with no care in the world he finally was put in an ER room. When we got in the room it clearly was not cleaned. There was blood and trash all over the floor and the back of the bed. I said something to the nurse and asked for someone to come in and clean and he acted like it was no big deal.
