Kim & Calvert Pediatrics

Dr. Calvert is wonderful. He has been my son’s doctor since the day he was born in the hospital. That was 12 years ago and I’m grateful he is our doctor. The office staff is very nice and we can always get a sick appointment when we need one. My son is severely disabled nonverbal autistic and I highly recommend seeing Dr. Calvert if you have a disabled child. He is patient and kind and also has many resources to offer you to help your child.

While doctor Calvert is phenomenal, his office staff are rude and unacceptable. I have been trying to make an appointment for my daughter for 3 weeks and they will not allow me to make one for 2 and a half month out and hung up on me. Then office staff gave me wrong information regarding my hmo. I had to educate her on which doctors I can seek a referral for and what can be written on a referral. About ready to pull my kids because this is unacceptable. Dr. Calvert is the only reason we are staying on but there has to be another great doctor around who has kind office staff.

Office staff been very rude lately and try to push us to get appointment with nurse practitioner. I would not prefer to see a nurse practitioner for my yearly visit would like to see Dr Calvert at least once a year . If it’s just an urgent visit I don’t my mind seeing a nurse practitioner. Dr Calvert himself is the best doctor and my kids have not seen another doctor since they are born .

Great doctors! They are able to accommodate same day sick visits most of the time and have evening appointments. Much better than our experiences at pediatric urgent cares. Front office staff has always been nice to us as well.

Been going here for over 7 years, but The last several times I’ve tried to get my baby in for a sick appointment, they are all filled up 20 minutes after they open…and they make no exceptions, even for a baby…they just tell me to go to urgent care 🤦🏼‍♂️. Finally decided to switch pediatricians after 7 years and go to one closer to home, and I’m so upset I didn’t switch sooner. The front desk and nurses are all so nice and they already know me by name. 7 years at Kim and Calvert, I don’t think any of the ladies up front ever bothered to learn the names of me or my kids. It’s sad, because Dr. Calvert is a great doctor but he’s going to be done in by his terrible and rude administration team. Just burned out and bitter…all of them. The only time they were ever nice to me over the phone
