Kilgore's Medical Pharmacy

I bought a wrist brace for carpal tunnel on 1/27/26 and wore it out of then store. I told the associate I didn’t need a receipt and to throw box away. The brace was $27 after tax. It tore through the strap the next day. I tried to exchange it on 1/28/26 and they told me they wouldn’t take it without a receipt. I thought about ordering one off Amazon for $9.99 but decided to support a local business and paid more than double only to have a brace I can’t use. They could have easily looked up the card transaction but they refused.

Kilgore’s truly is a local pharmacy, and they embed that in the way they treat their customers. I’ve had prescriptions at chain pharmacies in Columbia, and the level of service here is incomparable. They’ve called my drs office, they’ve called other pharmacies to move my prescriptions when my dr called into the wrong place, they’ve taken care of things for me 10 minutes to close so I wouldn’t have to do without for the weekend. They go above and beyond to make every transaction of mine easy. You always talk to a person versus an answering service. Oliver just went above and beyond to get my prescription moved at closing time (my fault) and made sure to call me to know evening was taken care of.

Jennifer and Landry are notorious for making a person feel heard and valid. Hang on to these two as they are gems to be followed by newer employees. That said I have NEVER had an unpleasant experience with anyone that is employed at this location. Always personable and friendly. The fact that they remain continuously busy and they never fail to welcome you with a smile and a lot of times by your name all while getting your requests fulfilled with zero complications and remarkable speed is in its self astounding. I’m grateful for these faces I call friends multiple times a month and appreciate their knowledge and love for humanity. Refreshing indeed!!❤️ Abbey Nichols.

Kilgor’s is hands down the best pharmacy I have ever used. Everyone that works there is polite, helpful, understanding and treats you like you are the only patient they have when you call, drop off a prescription or picking up one. When your doctor calls in a script for you by the time you get in your car and drive to the pharmacy it is ready. No long lines. It’s small town Wonderful with Big City abilities 🙂👏

I have used the Ashland Pharmacy for years because of their personal service and friendliness. When Kay (sp?) at Ashland Pharmacy retired I reluctantly switched to Kilgore's . I must say I have been pleasantly surprised. They are always friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. I dreaded getting my first prescriptions from Kilgore's because of terrible experiences with larger pharmacies, but it worked great. I am happy to say that I now have a new regular pharmacy.
