KIDZ Pediatric Nephrology

We had a wonderful visit. Dr. Paredes was kind and thorough. The staff throughout the office was also friendly, professional and helpful. This put me at ease as a parent and I left understanding everything that was in question from recent blood work and imaging my son had done.

I brought my newborn here for her first visit with a specialist, and unfortunately the experience started off very poorly. As I was entering the building with my stroller and my baby inside, a nurse opened the door extremely hard, hit the stroller super hard even moved it with my baby sleeping inside and woke up and scared my baby. She looked at me and then at my baby with a mean face and continued walking without apologizing. I addressed her and asked if she was going to apologize, but she ignored me and kept walking. I then spoke to another nurse who brushed it off by saying she was “in a hurry” and didn’t do it on purpose. Whether it was intentional or not, when it comes to patients especially newborns basic courtesy and accountability matter. An apology should have been given. This was

My son has been seeing Dr. Paredes for many years. I can surly say that she is one of the best doctors I have ever met. Believe me, I have vast experience with doctors. My son is very special… he has a tracheotomy and a ventilator. He also suffers from immobility. He is a difficult case. But Dr. Paredes makes everything better and easier in his treatment. Thanks to her my son is healthy and conquering all the odds. So, once and again…Thank you, Dr. Paredes.

Dr. Sanchez is great. Also the whole staff are great.
