Kids Smiles Pediatric Dentistry

What can I say about this place except how we absolutely love it here. They are amazing. They are fantastic with my daughter, they are great at monitoring my daughters glucose numbers while they work on her (she's type 1 diabetic), and actually care about their patients. When she needed a lot of dental work done, they worked with her endocrinologist to do surgery under anesthesia since it was her first time getting work done, and a lot of it. My kid went from being terrified of the dentist, to laughing with them. The receptionist is amazing as well. She remembers that I am extremely forgetful and always makes sure to give me multiple reminders/texts/calls days leading up so I dont forget. They take time to answer questions, and make sure you understand.

I would not recommend this practice. We were in the parking lot 10 minutes before our appointment and they were calling me asking why I wasn't there yet. I was never told I needed to come early. They were extremely rude to my daughter who has sensory issues. They told me not to have her around my son for appointments because her "bad attitude" would rub off on him. They wanted me to schedule another appointment for my daughter because she was worked up and didn't do a cleaning on her and then they billed insurance for a cleaning so she had to wait another 6 months even though she didn't get one due to insurance reasons. We ended up going back to our old dentist who doesn't take our insurance and paying out of pocket because this place was so bad. When I had to get her xrays from Kids Smile

I was disappointed with my last visit for my son at this clinic. My son previously had SDF applied and it was working good. Now this new Dentist is claiming that SDF is only 30% effective which is completely false. All data showing 75-90% success when applied twice. He tries to blame my son behavior instead of provide credible medical advice on the treatment you selected. I was planning to bring my daughter too, but I need to find another credible place.

We love our hygienist, and our dentist is always so friendly! The staff is welcoming, and the office is spotless — which is a must for our family. One thing to note is they prefer parents to stay in the waiting area, but I always ask to go back with my child, and they’ve never had a problem with it.

Brought both my kids here for the first time and it was an excellent experience. They were friendly, efficient and handled my kids very well. Probably best experience I’ve had in any health care setting in the past five years. Update after our second appointment…still great with kids and was happy with service but the number of phone calls and texts and emails to remind you to come and then ask you to change your appointment because… I don’t even know why they want you to do that… but if I showed you my phone logs you’d start to think, like I am, that maybe they’re desperate? It’s excessive.
