Kids First Pediatrics

The pediatrician are great but the new system of checking in your children is crazy. You have to fill out the same forms every time you have an appointment which is nuts. No where on this form is there a question to say if there is no changes you can just sign it and continue to the end. Then the front desk staff just says it's the system.

I would give ZERO stars if I could!!! The receptionist needs a lesson in healthcare edicts. I took my son for his 2nd appt there & they said that they’ve never seen him before. They had no records of his 1st visit. The doctor wasn’t the friendliest & rushed the appt. I had several concerns & questions that went unsaid. (My fault for not speaking up) Now 6 months later, they are still telling me that they haven’t received his health records, even though Novant in NC has repeatedly sent them. I’m so FRUSTRATED!!!! I need his immunization card on a GA form for speech therapy & daycare. They have no sense of urgency, professionalism, understanding, compassion like a doctor office should have. At this point, I’m going to find a different pediatrician & cross my fingers they’ll be able to ge

I truly appreciate the care provided by Dr. Manola and Dr. Gleason — they are the reason I continue bringing my child here. However, the front desk experience consistently falls short, and it reflects poorly on the entire practice. The front desk staff rarely greet patients, offer minimal assistance, and often appear annoyed when parents ask simple questions — which is part of their job. Sharon didn’t even hold her head as if I was invisible. The nasty “Karen” real name Christie, I do my best to respect elders and remain calm, but if employees are unhappy about working the day after Thanksgiving, that is an issue to discuss with management, not something patients should feel or experience. My daughter saw Dr. Gleason for her 5 year Well Child appt. and He was very kind and welcoming. I was very pleased that we didn't have to wait a long time. We were checked in and out in just 30 minutes. Overall the office is a great place to bring your Your little Mini Me's! :)

We usually visit the Pooler office. Dr. Gleason is great!! The wait isn’t usually too bad unless it’s a well check. They are also available on Saturdays for sick appointments and a few sick walk-ins. For us, the quality and reliability of care is worth the occasional wait.
