Kids First Pediatrics of Clayton

I was very disappointed with my experience at this pediatrician’s office. As a parent, I believe in being actively involved in my child’s healthcare decisions, including having informed discussions about vaccines. Unfortunately, when I expressed that I did not wish to follow the office’s full vaccine schedule, we were denied care altogether. There was little room for conversation, education, or compromise—just a blanket refusal to continue seeing my child as a patient. I understand offices have policies but I was hoping for a provider who values open dialogue, respects parental autonomy, and works collaboratively with families rather than dismissing them outright. If you are a parent who wants to ask questions, delay, or selectively vaccinate, this may not be the right practice for you.

My family has had a very positive experience with this practice thus far. We are new to the area and selected this practice due to the overall positive reviews. I appreciated them offering a flu clinic this month and they made it fun and engaging for my daughter. The staff have all been friendly.

We have been with this pediatric practice for a year now and I can confidently say they are the best doctor’s office we have ever experienced! From day one, the entire staff has been warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating. I love that we can always get a last-minute appointment when our children need it—something that gives us so much peace of mind. Another huge plus is that they have two locations—Clayton and Raleigh—so if one office is booked, we can easily be seen at the other. That kind of flexibility is priceless for a busy family. After a year of consistent, outstanding care, we truly wouldn’t change doctors for anything. They are the best!! All of the providers are so kind and helpful! Emily Wagner, NP is our favorite provider to see of all the PC’s my children have had. On top of that, Natalie at the front desk is so sweet and incredibly helpful as well. Always on point with everything and such a delight to see. Cannot recommend them enough. Thank you all ❤️

Very friendly! My daughters feel very safe and the nurse make sure my daughters Aren't afraid of their shots. Overall always a good experience!
