Kids & Family Dental

I had a root canal done today at Kids and Family Dental and I just want to say that the process was smooth and painless. Dr. Lomanto was wonderful and he did a great job, quick and pain free! I highly recommend him and this office! His assistant was very nice as well and helped make the process easy for me despite my nervousness prior to the appointment. Thank you Dr. Lomanto and team!!

So this place is probably the worst customer experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. The front end manager Michael is rude and constantly making excuses for the front end incompetence. I actually experienced them cancel my cleaning appointment after nine months of waiting because I didn’t call him back within two hours however I was on a flight at the time. Don’t do business with this practice the doctors and hygienist are actually really good. It’s just the office staff that literally stinks. They have been understaffed for five years, but I’m pretty sure they’ve been incompetent way before that.. Once again, the doctor and hygienist are awesome. Even the x-ray text. It’s just the Brain lacking staff at the front of the house 🙄

I had a bad experience in multiple ways with this place and highly recommend you do not have your kids go here! I waited a whole hour my first appointment but gave them the benefit of doubt that maybe they were just busy although the friendliness of the staff was off putting my first appointment went ok and I was told to come back for a root canal. Upon returning I waited for an hour and 15mins before I was seen.. it was around lunch time and I was told they were going to get me out quick.. the “dentist” came in and didn’t even introduce himself.. he told me the procedure may not go well because of how the root was and he may need to refer me to a specialist if it doesn’t go as planned.. he gave me novocaine and started drilling immediately after the injections!! By far the worst dentist ever! They change your appointment time with barely any notice. My husband has made multiple trips there for work to get done and he gets there and they tell him that the work was denied and when you call your insurance company, the insurance company tells you that they just didn't submit the proper stuff.. Don't even waste your time at this dentist they never answer their phone. They never call you back. It is by far the worst I've ever dealt with.

I don't make reviews often, but I have to talk about my experience. My sister and I have been coming here for years. We had a dental cleaning appointment in January, but I had to reschedule it. They told me they were booked solid, and the next available time was in JUNE, 5 months later... just for a dental cleaning. Our June appointment comes, and it was the worst experience., First off, oddly half the lights weren't even on. We had to get an x-ray done of our teeth, and the poor woman working with us struggled for half an hour trying to figure out the equipment, making us wait. She kept asking for help from the other staff, but they were so annoyed at her. I don't blame her, but she was definitely not trained enough, which made us waste more of our time waiting there.
