Kha Oanh N OD

I have been going to Dr Kha for 3-4 years but my last visit wasn't great! I think her attitude changed and patience for questions was running low. During a routine eye exam she mentioned that my eye prescription has changed, I asked if the machine said that or is that based on my selection of lenses during the reading test...she took offense and was very dismissive ..a month later I called in to tell her about my constant headaches and dizziness (since wearing the new prescription) to which the office got back saying they are busy right now with"year end" appointments and that I should call back in the new year to check it out....they seemed offended by the fact that I got my frame from Costco and not them (I dint like any at the office lol) anyway Want to change

I had an 8:00 AM appointment with Dr. Oanh Nguy Kha, and the experience was exceptional. The office, located conveniently at 1350 Grant Road, #17, in Mountain View, was clean, welcoming, and easy to find. Dr. Kha is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and attentive. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. The staff was friendly and professional, ensuring the entire process, from check-in to check-out, was smooth. I highly recommend Dr. Kha for anyone looking for a skilled and caring optometrist in the area.

Still waiting for Dr. Kha to provide a referral, two weeks after my visit, because she is reportedly 'too busy.' In my opinion, this is unprofessional and highly frustrating. Making patients wait this long for a referral is unacceptable. If time management is an issue, perhaps she should consider accepting fewer patients.

As a new patient, this was the worst experience I’ve had at a doctor’s office. Dr. Kya was dismissive and rude, lacking basic ‘bedside’ manners. For example, when I mentioned my vision was “blurry,” she cut me off, saying, “I don’t want to hear that—just tell me if you can read the letters or not.” Tests were conducted by Dr. Kya’s staff without clear explanation, and she used medical jargon without empathy. I will not be returning.

Dr Kha was knowledgeable about certain things but she didn't bother spending extra time with her patients. She was also very dismissive and condescending when it came to some research papers she must have read recently which went against my personal experience. I was merely sharing my experience and rudely cut off by her. I wasn't even trying to say in general something is a certain way. Anyway I guess I will try to find another optometrist now. Seems all optometrists are quite unhappy in their jobs.
