Went in for a lumbar puncture yesterday at Fort Hamilton with Interventional Radiology. I was so nervous being my first lumbar puncture. The staff including the nurses and techs were very empathetic and reassured me tho whole time. My procedure went smoothly and was explained step by step prior to procedure. James Cross PA did the procedure and he was outstanding and I appreciate his bedside manner. Since I will probably have to have future lumbar punctures due to my condition I won't go anywhere else. Just want to say thank you to all the staff at Interventional Radiology you all are wonderful ❤️.

Courtyard Cafe eople alive, Fort Hamilton Hospital hits it out of the ballpark with their courtyard cafe. I expected the usual. A plain hamburger with a slap of American cheese, some overcooked mashed potatoes and options of Ramen noodles. Not a the Fort. At the cafe you will feel like you are at a 5 star restaurant (that you couldn’t afford). Here’s the best news… you’re not. You are at a hospital cafeteria that is, not only affordable but offers quinoa!!! The Quinoa tops the stuffed mushroom that they offer for 4:49. You might as well get the garlic Parmesan green beans as a perfect side item. And as excited as I got about the quinoa and the mushroom, I got even more excited when I realized at the end of the line they had …. Brisket!!!!! The brisket comes with all the fixins!!!!! The

My grandfather was put onto the ICU for shortness of breath. He was on the ventilator for three days one of the most scary times for me and my family. He came off the ventilator by the grace of God And most of the time there, he did have some very amazing nurses his first day off the ventilator was a very, very rough day. I’m sure you can imagine he couldn’t get comfortable. He was in pain on top of him having crippling anxiety. It was just a very rough 2 to 3 days when he first got off the ventilator on November 12 he had a nurse in the ICU. Her name was Jessica. She was the night shift. She came in at seven. So I was medically neglected for one of the reasons I went in there by Jamie Duck, PA-C. I went in there for "flu-like symptoms", and fell in the shower. I only got treated for the sickness. NO ONE touched me, NO ONE did x-rays or CT on my hip and shoulder, the only time when I got asked about my pain levels was the front desk they seem like they were the only ones that cared. And that incompetent doctor didn't put it on my discharge papers
