Ken's Discount Pharmacy

I will forever be grateful for Ken's. He saved my life by catching a prescription a Dr. gave me that might have ended my life. They go above and beyond. Bless his soul AmenAmen.

In June 2025, I was refused an emergency refill of Clonazepam (a Schedule IV anxiety medication) at Ken’s Discount Pharmacy on Gore Blvd. I was completely out of my prescribed dosage and informed the staff, explaining the pharmacy would close for the weekend—yet they refused even a single dose or to contact my prescriber. Instead, they unilaterally offered me generic Pristiq, which is not appropriate for my condition. As a Black woman and a former certified pharmacy technician, I found their behavior dismissive, unprofessional, and possibly discriminatory. Staff tone changed once they saw me in person. This isn’t just poor customer service—it’s a serious health risk and possibly a civil rights violation. Be cautious. 🛑

I don’t often write reviews on Google, but people need to know if you are looking for a pharmacy that ACTUALLY cares and treats wonderful this is where you should be coming! They’ll take great care of you. The only time I’ve gone elsewhere is because it was an emergency or they were closed. Ken’s deserves your business not these chains that bully their patient.

I was with walmart pharmacy but switched to kens awhile ago. There staff is always friendly and they never run out of medications I need. As long as there in business I will always be there customer..

I picked up some prescriptions on 12/08/2023, and when I got home I couldn't find my wallet. On 12/09/2023 I returned to Kens to inquire if anyone turned it in and they had. I had over $200.00 in the wallet and it was all still there. This is the.reason I don't allow my insurance company to mail my prescriptions to me, then I'd miss out on the amazing customer service at Kens.
