Customer Reviews
I know this goes back a ways, but while I was a Cadet at USMA I always received top quality care at Keller. I was injured quite a few times (gymnastics of all things!, intramural football, Airborne and Air Assault schools - follow on treatment post schools, plus the normal bumps and bruises one gets there!) and always received kind, courteous, professional care. I trust the professionals there today have carried on this fine tradition!!!
I recently had 2 same day procedures at KACH with the general surgeon, Dr. Falta. The facility was really well organized and very clean and I was made to feel very comfortable right from the start! This was truly a great experience for me and I want to give a glowing review of all of the staff that I encountered. First of all, Dr. Falta is a fantastic and very knowledgeable physician. He thoroughly explained both procedures and gave me an opportunity to ask any questions. Dr. Falta made sure I got a medication for nausea while still in the pre-procedure area! This action proved to me his compassionate care for his patients. This medication helped me greatly! From start to finish ALL of nursing staff were super professional, kind and caring. I only wish I could remember all of their names!
I can't speak for other departments, but the pediatric department is great. We love ALL the nurses and our pediatrician is amazing. You will feel heard. We usually arrive about 10 minutes early and they call us back within 5, so we start early and are out early too. The pharmacy is slow, but it's not any slower than other on-post pharmacies I've been to.
I have been here 2 times now (ER), over 2 hour waits (not busy to mention) then they give you ibuprofen and say make an appointment Monday! Reminder, always get a second opinion. They make you feel uncomfortable, and we are making things up. I would avoid at all cost. You as military are allowed to use other emergency rooms.
This hospital does not offer a lot of services, albeit it offers the basic necessities for medical care. (Vision, Physical Therapy, medical evaluation, prescriptions and radiology needs. Something to definitely note is that there is NO OBGYN. If you are pregnant or have a spouse is pregnant ensure you research other places to go to if you have an emergency or need appointments.
