Clean, professional and courteous office and staff. No nonsense doc that takes care of what’s needed. Absolutely recommended.

★★☆☆☆ 2.0 Shannon · Jun 2018

Dr.Kohorst is kind, well-mannered and competent. However, I was charged literally 3 times the amount I usually pay for my contacts. The office smelled overwhelmingly of cigarettes, and the brunette receptionist was very unfriendly. If this review was only about Dr.Kohorst, I would definitely rate him highly. Unfortunately, the atmosphere, reception, and price drag the rating down.

The front desk women are very nice and helpful. The Dr. Is very nice and listens to you and answers your questions. I've never had a long wait because they don't overbook was in and out in 35 min and my wife. I have special glasses and every other eye doctor tried to charge me over $200 for my lenses but dr. Kohorst included it with my insurance so no money out of pocket. They all are very friendly and helpful and will do all they can to help you will not go to any other eye doctors thanks all of you at Dr. Keith kohorsts office

While travelindg, I was in need of an eye doctor thinking I had an infection of some sort. Kristal answered the phone; she was very nice and worked me into the schedule. Both office girls were very personable, knowledgeable, and compassionate as I watched and listened to them interact with other patients. Dr. K was also very personable; he was familiar with my problem, gentle, and quickly took care of me. He sent me on my way with a sample Rx and charged a very small fee for the visit; something you don't see very often as most visits start at $100 or more. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. If I lived in the area I would not hesitate to have him for my personal optometrist. He and his staff were outstanding!

Decided to switch Optometrists due to my last two prescriptions being incorrect. I decided to give Kohorst a try at my guy's request and I am so glad I did. His office staff is very friendly, he is wonderful, very polite, and he answered any question I had with a smile. I get transition lenses, nothing too special but definitely gets expensive. I used to pay $300+ for my glasses which discouraged me from replacing the prescription every year to accommodate my severe astigmatism. My insurance covered the exam and covered $60 partial for my frames and transition lenses, I paid the difference of $64. I saved $200+ by going to Kohorst instead and got better treatment than I was getting at my last Optometrist. I highly recommend Dr. Kohorst.
