Really loved KVAH for a long time, and my in laws have always taken their pets here, but unfortunately I am so frustrated after taking my dog in for his neuter this weekend. I brought in his food due to him having a specific diet, and it was pre portioned so all they had to do was give it to him, and I brought in pumpkin which we put in his food to help with bowel movements. When I took him in I gave specific and very easy instructions about his food. After picking him up today I realize the pumpkin was not put in his food and was left in the containers brought in his bag. When picking him up there was no direction given for after care of his neuter, and this is the first time I’ve ever had a dog neutered. 5 years ago I would have told you this was the best place to give your pet veterinary care. However their standards have plummeted in the past year, most of the nurses and receptionists I knew at first have left and are replaced by individuals who are argumentative, disrespectful, and downright childish. In the last 3 months we have had three issues regarding engagement with the receptionists, the first was because my partner was not being spoken to about her dog that she's had for 7 years because we thought a joint account would be easier. It wasn't. Instead it became a headache that took both of us dealing with to resolve, and it wasn't even favorable- because then I wasn't allowed to know about her dog. All because we aren't married. These are incompetent fools. The old lady doesn't seem to realize she's on earth 99% of the time. They change my dog's medical records and do not inform me of changes (ie MY DOG'S AGE) Asked if I could bring my dog by for a quick shot and was told "Okay, no appointment necessary." Just to get charged a no call, no show fee. I have a partner who is listed on my account and they never contacted him til DAYS later to try to charge him. I tried to speak to staff on the phone and she was argumentative and confrontational and basically trying to blame us for an appointment that did not exist. When informed we may take our business elsewhere, they were like, "Please do. :)" They obviously do not care for their clients and have zero idea what customer service is. Best vet by far, does not even compare to any other vet. Very friendly staff all around, detailed explanations on everything. These people truly care about your animal. Reasonable pricing as well. I will gladly drive 30 min for the best in the business. 10/10 highly recommend!!!!!!!

I absolutely love all the employees! They are always super friendly. All the vets are very knowledgeable. Dr. Florey saw my dog Duke for his entire lifetime. When Duke passed, the whole staff was extremely caring and thoughtful. I can't say enough good things about this place.
