Karen Asato Body Alignment Bowen Therapy

Karen is my favorite therapist on the island- and I have been to quite a few. Her place is wonderful and she has a plethora of techniques and knowledge that always make you feel better and aligned.

I have been seeing Karen Asato for over a year for sport and work related injuries. She is amazing! Yesterday, I entered her office as stiff as an Ohi'a trunk, ribs poking my lungs, restricting every breath, thinking I may have permanent spine damage. Today, I was gently skateboarding with my young boys, almost feeling uninjured. Karen has been one of the best healers I've experienced. Fortunately and unfortunately, I have experienced many. One thing that stands out for me is her SRT skills (if thats what she calls it). Like a mechanic with a diagnostic computer she can trouble shoot and identify injuries almost instantly. Its a pleasure to hear her pin point the issues, make adjustments, then work down the list. I always float out of her office on cloud 9. She is truly amazing!

Bowen Therapy is different than most treatments or adjustments, but I’ve been delighted with my results from Karen’s treatments. She has a lot of skill, knowledge, and intuition to be able to pinpoint the source of my hip and walking (and this time shoulder) issues, and help them. Karen is awesome, especially if your body is out of alignment or you have recurring issues. My neck kept going out and not holding, even after adjusted by chiropractor. Karen started on my head and realigned it by moving the fascia. Then went down to my right foot and knee that was also acting up. I felt crooked when i went in but all better now. Needless to say, i saved another trip to the chiropractor. Also very relaxing, she has good, honest energy,!
