Karas Health Care

Went to a wellness visit in May of 2025. In December, I received a bill for almost $100 from that visit. I called Kara's and was told I needed to call the lab. The lab said I needed to call my insurance. The insurance says it was billed under codes not covered for preventive care. I called Kara's on January 19th and spoke to the office manager who stated I shouldn't have to pay that and they would get it taken care of. I sent my bill to them that same day. I then emailed on the 26th and 29th asking for an update. I then called on the Feb 11th, still no update. Finally today, Feb 24th, I get a call from not the office manager, but a girl who doesn't know anything about what is going on, saying I need to call my insurance. Everything went great with my first visit.. seems like a great place for all healthcare needs.. everyone there very friendly not like some healthcare offices that just seem how do i say .. stuffy and robotic lol. This place is very laid back and welcoming and non judgmental.

I have always gotten great care here for my kids and my husband. They have a very common sense approach to medicine which promotes long term health and longevity and I appreciate this. I’ve never had to wait a long time here, the visits are always quick, the staff is always nice, and the doctors and NPs are always knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this clinic to anybody.

I’ve been going to Kara’s health for almost 5 years now and they have given me the best care! From the front desk, to the vital checks, to the doctors… if I have any issues (small or big) they get me right in, listen to me and take their time to figure out how to help me. Even their admin team has gone above and beyond to help me understand insurance issues that I had trouble navigating. Truly love this clinic and am so thankful for their care!

TL/DR: SAME ISSUES AS EVERYONE ELSE. STAFF TREATS YOU POORLY, MAKES MISTAKES REGARDING YOUR MEDS. GET FIRED AS PATIENT WHEN YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT IT OR TRY TO GET THE SITUATION FIXED. Dr. Karas and his staff, especially Mariela, are beyond rude. My husband and I have been patients here, paying thousands of dollars in cash, for over a year. My husband came in because he had 4 refills of his injections available, and he was denied, saying he needs to make an appointment. I called the clinic to see what the discrepancy was, spoke to Mariela the office manager, and was treated like an inconvenience. Like i was stupid or a child. She read his chart out to me where it clearly states he has 4 refills available, but couldnt tell me why he was denied them, and said "sure" when i suggested that the fro
