Kapiolani Pediatric Outpat Clinic

Kapiolani's pediatric outpatient clinic only received a 1 ⭐️ because their physician's are pretty thorough. However if you schedule with them, be prepared to wait at least 45+ minutes to be acknowledged. In two separate scheduled appointments, we had to wait 46 and 50 minutes respectively. For the second appointment, we had been in the waiting room for so long that the administrator in the front office forgot that we had checked in. This seems to be a known trend with this office. I would encourage anyone to find a pediatric office that values you and your child's time.

Great if you enjoy being gaslit by your provider, seeing a different pediatrician every time you go in, and not being able to schedule appointments in a timely manner. Here’s how a conversation with the schedulers go, “our calendar comes out for that month on January 15th, call around then.” So we call then, “oh we’re all booked out for that month…. Sorry.” Obviously that’s not when the schedule is made because you’d have appointments available.

I love KMC , they take/took care of mine and my baby's needs also the Social Workers provides all of my baby's Transportation for every appointment! I wait long for my baby's appointments but it's worth it! Great Doctors and Staff! Keep it up KMC!

Very disappointed in recent care. I wrote a long detailed account from our point of view, however deleted. Doctors should take parents observations and child's medical complaints seriously. They did check multiple things, however are coming up empty. We have been exposed to toxins due to Red Hill fuel in our water. Who knows what unusual conditions/symptoms this can cause. The doctor complained that I was bringing the child in often. So instead of considering possibilities the doctor decided to shame me for bringing my child to the doctor to get help. In fairness, we have had some very caring doctors at this clinic as well.

Great staff all around. We drive 45 minutes just to take our son here.
