Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek Medical Center -GI

The nurse who took me in had a nasty attitude; i wish i had her name to report her. I tried to make friendly conversation while she put in my IV (asking why she's putting the IV in my forearm as to the regular spot they put IVs in) to see if she would lighten up but she gave back attitude nastily commenting back "bc its a vein". And on top of that handled me roughly and made it so the IV hurt extra than needed. I've been in and out of hospitals all my life and to be treated like this is unacceptable. Staff should stay silent or be friendly because being a patient is not an easy thing. Its easy for nurses to be putting in the IVs but i, the patient, am the one receiving it. My entire life is the hospital, its not a career for me and if i had a choice i would be healthy and never step foot i

if i could label it as negative i would. This place is the worst hospital on the west coast, if you want to die? go to Kaiser

Very poor communication, not a friendly environment, and the wait times are atrocious. Does not recommend coming to Kaiser unless it's life or death
