Kaiser Permanente viewridge

I had to wait 5 hours for a scheduled surgery originally scheduled at 6pm and ended up getting pushed to 11pm not counting recovery time. I ended up leaving before the surgery when I realized they were just lying about the schedule. They kept pushing it back, promising that it would only be 1 more hour. One nurse said that the scheduled patients have to wait with the ER patients, I don't know why they aren't separate. I asked another nurse if they were unusually busy, but she said that this was a normal night. They said that they have more operating rooms, but no doctors. They seem to purposefully understaffed their surgery department. Several of the staff knew I had been waiting and didn't seem to care or apologize for the experience. I started coming to this location a little over 3 months ago and am seen up to 4 times a week by multiple departments, docs and staff. Reading these reviews, I have concluded that they have to be old. This clinic has really taken a complete 180 in their customer care. I've had nothing but the best service and attention from all staff and feel blessed to have such care in a tumultuous time in my health.

The receptionist are great! They greet me by name, check me in and ask about the family before im fully seated. After that it quickly goes downhill. Ever since Dr Jaffe left I have had nothing but terrible experiances. Everything from failed procedures with Angel Chang, MD., condescending and dismissive emails and phone calls from dr. Chang and her staff. A toxic environment has taken hold of this place and its hurting the patients. Don't even get me started on physical therapy! The therapist are mediocre at best. I became partially paralyzed on the left part of the body. When Kaiser allowed me therapy, it was terrible. I resorted to YouTube videos so my wife could help me out. Ot is not bad when it happens. Stay away from this place.

Absolutely horrible!! Definitely don’t go there for treatment, 2 family members of mine died there because they didn’t know how to do there job! They didn’t even try to help out my family and even early on when their condition was treatable, they did nothing and are heartless when delivering such news. Don’t go there for help I plead with you.

Just a general suggestion for Kaiser: stop bothering your patients calling with random stuff, cause when it's something really important we may not pick up asduming it's spam again ;)
