Kaiser Permanente Point West Laboratory

I don't know if this is normal, but I had the worst experience here the other day. I had a time-sensitive urine test that I tried to get done there after a doctor's appointment. However, there was a sign on the door saying that specifically on that day (the actual date was on the sign), the lab was closing two hours early at 4:00 which I had missed. That was totally fine since it seemed like a one-off thing. I came back the next day, which was the last day I could get the test. I had left work early to get there by 3:15, well before the 6:00 closing time. I'm glad I did because, once again with no warning, the lab was closing at 4:00. There was no sign this time. They just started locking everything up around 4:00 and turning people away. Also, nobody announced to the folks already wait

There’s always a lot of people waiting, but the staffs are wonderful, friendly, professional and fast

Made an appointment online the same day, phlebotomist was quick, good at his job, kind, and kept me talking to keep me distracted. I was nervous about getting my blood drawn since the last time I did freaked me out, but this time was pretty much painless! Wait time was also minimal for a 1:00 appointment on a Friday

AVOID THIS PLACE FOR LAB WORK!!! there's only 2 staff that draw blood. They have terrible skills. I have normal veins, and the LVN penetrated my veins, she cannot get the blood out, and kept moving the needles inside my veins, very painful! Never had this problem with other KP center. Go to KP at Morse Ave! My friend went there for blood draw, their staff are very skilled!

I went with a friend of mine to pick up her medications. Her dentist told her that her mediciation would be ready to be picked up after 3:00 pm. We got there a little after 3:00 pm, & ended up having to wait for 2 & a half hours for her medication.
