Kaiser Permanente Behavioral Health

Stay away if you care about you or your loved ones mental health. I’ve been getting care here since October. I came in October seeking treatment to improve myself so I can be better for my family, working on anger and childhood trauma. Fast forward 4 months and Kaisers treatment has made me actively unsafe. I ended up in the ER for the first time in my adult life. They do not listen to their clients when treatment plans aren’t working. Their notes are inaccurate. They refused to do outside referrals. I work in mental health and Kaiser is a running joke in the field. I’ve had coworkers who went through Kaiser too and can attest to the poor care. ZERO stars.The absolute WORSE.I could never believe they could so horrible.My experience is they want you to take surveys at every appointment but they dont do anything about what your answers are.Just a waste of time.I have been trying to get help for 2 years now.The psychiatry department is a total joke.They constantly cancel appointments.Then tell you there is no appt available for another month.When someone is asking for help. People should feel heard.Not dismissed.They have no clue what it takes for someone to ask for help.All you get is one sorry excuse after another.When someone has a mental health crisis ,thats when time is not on someone side.They sould be seen as soon as possible.
