Kaiser Foundation Hospital Pharmacy

Visited a friend there. Quite a busy area. Good how they guide pedestrians thru a tunnel away from traffic. The hospital needs some modernization inside and made to feel a little more like they have enough nurses to take care of our loved ones.

Now that they are closed because of the strike how are we supposed to pick up medication? Mail order is too slow....5 days!

Waiting 90min for a medicine since checking in. There are more employees than patients/customers so why the inefficiency of waiting in line to check in, then waiting in line to pick up, then waiting in a THIRD queue for the actual medicine and a useless 30-sec consultation with one of ten pharmacists!? Just go to a retail pharmacy because the convenience of an onsite pharmacy is defeated when the orders take an hour to process

Every time I come here for a refill they’ll say 10-15 and then it takes more like 30-45 mins. Don’t appreciate being lied to especially after watching everyone’s names get called but mine for that 30 mins. It’s absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful
