Very disappointing customer service at the front desk I went to this orthopedic clinic today, and I have to say that the front desk experience was very disappointing. The lady at the front desk had a bad attitude. She told me I had to change the reason for my dad’s shoulder pain because if it wasn’t work-related, the insurance wouldn’t cover it. I politely asked her what I should write instead since it’s not from an injury at work, but maybe from his work position. She said, “I don’t know, I can’t tell you what to put,” and continued doing other things without even looking at me. I tried to explain that I wasn’t asking her to tell me what to write, but just to help me rephrase what I already had. She said, “Just leave it like that, and if the insurance doesn’t cover it, you’ll get the bill

Dr. Hong and his staff were so kind. Very efficient office & clean. Was able to get me in same day as a new patient for an acute injury.

For both my husband and I. He had pain in knee. He works PT job and had to take off without pay. This is what lead us to Ortho Kagan: Went to some Orthopedic Specialists we knew from before and were not happy at all, too long to "get approval" for MRI, which did NOT NEED that from insurance at all. Then, more bs with approval for prednisone shot which I balked at and told them to just call insurance and it was approved immediately, maybe they'll try hyaluronic acid shots which 50% say work, so he got the prednisone shot and it worked for 3 days. I asked about the surgery, which our PCP said should be done and they gave us guff about using that as a last resort. So ENOUGH. I took him to ORTHO KAGAN to see Dr. Curcione and he right away said that there are pieces of meniscus floating a
