Just Like Home Senior Living

We were searching for a place for our Mom in the Nashville area and what a relief when we found Just Like Home and Harpeth Manor! It's a residential assisted living facility in a group home setting with a small number of people being cared for - very different from the big senior living places we looked at. It's challenging for someone with memory issues to get used to anything new but the staff at Just Like Home have gone to great lengths to ease our Mom into the routine there. Her appetite has improved with the healthy home cooking too. What makes Just Like Home so special is the commitment that Caroline, Shari, and the staff have to creating a wonderful little community for their residents. The answer to our prayers for Mom! A small home concept where the staff to patient ratio means Mom gets loads of attention. Nice ranch-style home with 10 en-suite rooms. Real southern kindness from every staff member. A front porch for rocking, a screened porch as well as an enclosed patio for sunshine, regular therapy dog visits for petting, occasional bible study, weekly hair/nail salon on-site. I would recommend Just Like Home to any senior who needs more assistance than their loved ones can provide.

Our family toured Just Like Home and were very impressed with the concept, the setup, the home itself, and most importantly, with the staff. The leaders seemed kind and understanding of the needs of the elderly, and the residents seemed happy and well-cared for. If this home had been closer to us, we would certainly be there now.

Visiting Mom was just like walking into a family gathering. Mom was surrounded by a small group that she has gotten to know, all enjoying a meal around the dining table, just like home! It is a great relief for our family that Mom is being cared for in a safe, beautiful and well managed home-like environment!

Just Like Home Senior Living is wonderful. I looked at several assisted living options for my mom but knew the minute I visited Just Like Home that I found the perfect place. I love that It's a home environment versus a facility. My mom was the first resident to move in and we absolutely love it. The management team has gone above and beyond to make us feel at home. The best thing is they truly care about the residents.
