Dr. Levine and the staff at NYU Langone are wonderful. Gastric bypass surgery with her was a breeze. I didn’t have pain beyond a little soreness. I was up and walking the day of my operation. She is caring and upbeat. The staff is attentive and make sure you get what you need. The bariatric program is very thorough and there are supports in place to help you on your journey.

I had an appointment with Dr. Levine LAST FRIDAY and I received a call just as I was walking out of my house to go to the appointment I received a phone call that the doctor had an emergency. The woman on the phone rescheduled my appointment for 3:30pm the following Friday (today) I am positive that she said 3:30 because I put it on my calendar in my phone as she said it so that I would get a reminder earlier in the day. When I arrived all the way in Garden City from Levittown at 3:15pm, I was told that my appointment was at 2:30 am the Doctor refused to see me because she was going home! All she had to do was look at 2 scans and some bloodwork and schedule surgery for my gallbladder to be removed. I had a Hiatus Hernia Repaired after suffering for over 20 years from acid reflux. Dr Levine is such a great doctor and the whole team at NYU was fantastic. I feel great after surgery and no more pills and no more acid reflux burning me inside out. Pills were affecting my memory and other possible side effects from them such as chronic fatigues.
