Julia Temple Healthcare Center

DO NOT take your loved one here. From day one they left my Dad laying in his own urine. I was there A LOT and saw a lot of untaken care of people. I have pictures of no one in the dining room when I was feeding my Dad somebody could have choked. One worker mistreated and talked harshly to my Dad right in front of me. Sometimes they would get mad when I asked for his Depends diaper to be changed. Trying to get ahold of the director and the head nurse was a joke no one returned my calls. I can go on and on. PLEASE DO NOT take your loved one to Julia Temple.

My Brother seems to be well taken care of. Staff, showed compassion and concern. Also, taking my Brother and others outside for sunshine is fantastic. They need fresh air.😊

As it currently operates, this facility was so bad my mom wanted to leave the moment they took her there. Once my Father arrived, he confirmed that it was "not a place I would stay" and they promptly attempted to leave. On the outside and in the pictures on the website it seems nice, but inside is a different story. The rooms are small, cramped, and mostly shared. The tiny beds don't have railings to help people that are a fall risk (my mother included). It seemed unclean and smelled like urine and fecises. Also, the furniture was outdated and worn. Lastly, they didn't seem to have much of a caring staff available to help my mother get settled and she was not able to easily call a nurse that would come help her when needed. The staff at Julia Temple is very attentive in the Columbine unit. My mom was treated very well and did great. She loved the food as well. Everyone is pretty friendly and helpful. The care staff helped with her discharge also and made sure mom had everything she needed before she came home. We had a great experience here.

The entire staff has been very welcoming and supportive. I feel the care my mother is receiving here is wonderful. I ‘d say Julia Temple is good place for anyone needing special care.
