Sara has healed me multiple times!!! I had a large disc extrusion at L4/L5 in May 2024. I was not even 30 years old and was in extreme pain for months! After my MRI, I did what my orthopedic said—regular PT and three steroid shots plus trying a chiropractor ….the pain only got worse!! I saw Sara with hope because she is an expert in MDT!! We did video calls. I did what she said. My back pain got a little better, but I ultimately needed surgery. About 4 weeks post-microdisectomy, I saw Sara virtually again. I was in the hospital for a week every month from November to January. Because of my situation and health, I could hardly walk and was very weak. I am so glad that Sarah with JOY Physical Therapy was recommend to me! On the first visit, Sarah explained what being in a hospital bed can do to your body and the toll that it takes on your skeletal system, muscular system and your overall strength. She found that I had very tight hamstrings- so tight in fact, that was effecting my leg length. One leg was shorter than the other because of the tightness of my hamstrings. Sarah worked with me and designed a workout that I could do daily to loosen and lengthen the shorter leg. Sarah comes to provide PT sessions for my 82 year old mother when she is visiting from out of town. Having an in home therapist was a game changer for my mother who didn't think her mobility could improve. She was proven wrong and made significant progress. Sarah helped translate the sessions to daily tasks and helped her identify and set up where and how to do her exercises in between sessions. This helped my mom become compliant with the exercise and she got stronger as a result. Sarah is motivating, encouraging and helped her aim higher. We are seeing steady improvement with her mobility. I worked with Sara for ongoing sporadic back pain and was very thankful for her high quality care and the virtual appointments! She was flexible with my schedule with small kiddos at home and I appreciated her assessment and knowledge with postpartum/breastfeeding. Her exercise plans were doable, effective, and I feel equipped to manage any future pain. Would highly recommend!

I highly recommend JOY PT! I've worked with Sara for a long time shoulder issue. She was able to assess me quickly, gave me some exercises to work on, and I quickly noticed a change in how my shoulder felt in the bench press! I was able to put weight on the bar that I haven't in years after just a few weeks. I am a personal trainer, and one of my clients loves her as well. Seek her out if you need some PT services, but be sure to do the homework!
