I've been going to Dr. Gowen for services for at least seven (+) years now. I live over two hours away from where he's located, yet the convenience and level of quality service doesn't deter that. My most recent visit was an afternoon walk-in, and despite the waiting area being filled when I arrived, I was still able to promptly be seen that same day. The excellency and timeliness of his work is stellar! I was impressed that even with a large clientele during my time there, he and the office staff were ALL intentional, present, friendly, and courteous in a way that seemed sincere. Their welcoming behavior during such a busy time is not unnoticed.

The staff was very professional. They were very busy but cared for each person individually. I was really impressed with how each person was treated courteously and respectfully. They handled everyone with a positive demeanor. Dr Gowen was worth seeing, he is so competent and kind. He is so very professional and made me feel at ease. A great smile too!

Very amiable and knowledgeable staff greets you with smiles. Several needy patients walked in and were given immediate appointments! Heard enough of those conversations to know billing was no issue and even without insurance, it was not near as much as others in this area. Dr. Gowan was so nice, and was more than willing to clear up several concerns I had, answering numerous questions. I Cannot recommend this office highly enough.

I'm glad I decided to walk in yesterday because I really needed to get my eyeglasses updated. Lately, I’ve been quite busy, and my eyes could use some extra care. The staff here has been incredibly welcoming and friendly, and Dr. Joseph Gowen was so kind and gentle. His caring approach truly made my day easier and brighter. I lost my glasses and I have to renew my license soon. Full panic mode! I called every eye care business and no one could get me in. Dr Gowens office got me in next day and within 90 minutes I walked out with glasses. The office staff was AMAZING! All in all I had a great experience there and it didn't break the bank. A few hours later the dog found my old glasses lol -just like what the staff said would happen.
