For several years, I suffered excruciating pain in both hips and lower back. I could no longer walk, sleep, or perform my daily tasks. A wheelchair awaited me. I didn't have a decent quality of life. It wasn't until I contacted Dr. Jose A. Amundaray, who diagnosed my condition in both hips and recommended replacement of both. All the procedures for both surgeries were extremely easy, and I will be eternally grateful to Dr. Amundaray and his entire attentive staff. I received very kind, respectful, and warm treatment from him and his excellent team. In short, they are an extraordinary team. I had no problems with either procedure. I am an RN and came to Dr. Amundaray for a total knee replacement. I had the surgery in October 2024 & I am THRILLED with Dr. Amundaray and his staff. The doctor is so kind and answered all my questions. He never rushed me. He did a wonderful surgery; I got to go home the same day & I am ahead of schedule on my recovery. Katie, his MA is outstanding. I always had so many questions, and she was very attentive. I would definitely recommend Dr. Amundaray!!

Jose Amundaray was my mother’s Dr for her total knee replacement surgery. After surgery she was complaining about a lot of pain and discomfort. Specifically there was and still is a lot of pain on the side of the knee. We went in for the last follow up appointment and explained the pain that she was still having and asked for imaging to be done. He rudely stated that it would just put more money in his pocket and did not follow up with imaging. He also refused to give me an extra 2 days to heal before returning to work. I would not recommend this Doctor, his bedside manner was very unprofessional.

Dr. Amundaray is a very professional and very knowledgeable orthopedic-surgeon doctor. Very kind and helpful, always takes the time to listen to his patients and look for the best treatment or surgery for his patients. My wife Marisol had a total knee replacement arthroplasty 3 months ago with Dr. Amundaray and was a success and she is doing so well thanks to Dr. Amundaray. Dr. Amundaray has replaced both of my knees in the past two years, and as far as I’m concerned, he’s done an amazing job. Both knees are doing great, and pain free. It takes a lot of work to get the knee moving the way it should, but Dr. A gives you 100% support, and help to get there. I can also say that the second knee was easier to recover from, so if you’re worried about that, don’t be. You know what to expect, so mentally that helps, but you must be diligent with your exercises and do them every day. The hard work will pay off. Without any reservations, I strongly suggest you consider this dedicated Doctor!
