I have been to see Dr O'Quinn probably 6 or 7 times with more to come for a chronic callous so I have a lot of experience 1 on 1 with him. First off he is excellent: professional in everyway and my feet are grateful but it's his 'bedside' manner that makes him stand out. He never rushes, takes his time and really makes me feel comfortable. He knows who I am and we have an ongoing conversation (non-foot) that is really pleasant. Highly Recommended!

I have received excellent care at Eastern Carolina Foot and Ankle. In particular Dr. O'Quinn made the experience exceptional. He was delightful and the ultimate professional. He took time to explain my condition and the treatment options thoroughly and skillfully. In a today's health care environment this is very rare indeed. The staff was courteous and my wait time was minimal. I will definitely not trust anyone else with my foot care needs.

I saw Dr. O'Quinn the same day I saw a practicenor at ECU Neurosurgery and Spinal Medicine. In both cases, I was seeking help for drop foot, a condition caused by L4 and L5 in my back pressing on a nerve. The treatment to help regain a normal walking stride is a foot brace. I received referrals to two different orthotics services in town. At one, the wait time for an appointment was 2 weeks. The other had a wait time of 6 weeks. Not knowing anything about the differences in orthotics, I made an appointment with the office that had the shortest wait time. Last week I began experiencing heat, swelling, and soreness in my "good foot", the one not affected by drop foot. Dr. O'Quinn saw the brace I was wearing and reduced me to tears by yelling at me because I had gone to the wrong office

I saw Dr. O'Quinn for chronic foot pain that turned out to be plantar fasciitis caused by high foot arches. It was easy and quick to set up an appointment, and when I arrived, I didn't have to wait long at all. Dr. O'Quinn was very helpful and shared a lot of great information. I ended up going back after a few weeks for a cortisone injection into my foot. I was very worried about it, but the way he did it, it didn't hurt at all! I was amazed. He's a great doctor. Very nice and personable, and he really takes time to understand your medical issues and offer great treatment, advice, and any related information. I highly recommend him!

Had a cyst on my 3rd right toe. Diagnosis was made immediately. Dr. O'Quinn gave me the nature of the problem and gave me the opportunity to determine course of action. I decided to have it removed. The surgery went very well...Did not need to take pain medication. His clear instructions along with his precision surgery was the mainstay of my quick, painless experience. Would I select him again??? Yes. If you have a foot problem, select Dr. O'Quinn as your podiatrist.
