I had surgery on 06/25/20. I can’t say enough how happy with the results I am but more important how amazing Dr. Pirrello is. Starting from the beginning every question I had, every information I needed he took all the time and explain everything to make sure I understand . I was home very next day and recovery was so smooth and so good it didn’t even felt i had any kind of surgery. He also fixed my esophagus hernia same time when he did my sleeve. I’m very sad that St Francis hospital decided to go with different team, shame on them!!!!really big mistake!!!It’s not always about the money it’s about how dr make you feel good. Dr. Pirrello is phenomenal. He truly cares about his patients. He never made me feel rushed, was always responsive, and always took time to answer my questions thoroughly. A huge loss to Trinity Health. I am sure all of his patients feel as I do...where did he go??

During all of my interactions with Dr. Jon Pirrello, was always kind with compassion. He was very caring and focused on what was best and me and my health when I had two emergency surgeries in late 2016. Dr. Pirrello and his staff were always there as a listening ear when I was afraid to have both surgeries. He made my mother feel comfortable, knowing she was putting her only daughters' life in his hands. Sadly my mother passed away in June of 2019. When I received the letter today in the mail regarding his departure, I didn't believe it and called his office. This is very, very sad news to me. I will miss him. It's kind of hard what to do when you get attached to any medical profession that shows compassion as he did, then you find out their transitioning to another place. I wish Dr. Pirr

Dr. Pirello performed Bariatric surgery on my son in March of 2020 - he and his team were fabulous! My son wants to continue his care with Dr. Pirrello, so I called his (old) office in Farmington to find out where he went. They said they didn’t know. Having worked in the medical profession myself, I know they are just not sharing the information. Yes, if any of you ever find out where he is, please post. Thanks!
