This was my first visit to Johnston Dental Group. I was very pleased. My hygienist was Jordan , who did an excellent job and I was then seen by Dr. Liu who was also excellent, patient and thorough. Usually after my cleaning I have to take Motrin for the pain, this is the first time in about 30 years that I did not have any pain after a cleaning. Kudos to Jordan.

I had a tooth pulled yesterday which also was infected. Dr Nagy her daughter and staff were awesome. It was a experiencei I will not soon forget. I felt like family. Dr Nagy and her staff kept making sure I was comfortable throughout the whole experiencei. I found that to be super professional. It's less than 24 hours later and I feel great. It was a great first visit. All personnel was very professional and thorough with their work. After a detailed exam, Dr. Absi expertly answered all of the questions I had about my dental health. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but I was also able to schedule a tooth filling appointment the next day, which is also very nice since I didn’t have to wait for weeks to get it done.

Great dentists, however, they cancel a lot of appointments!! When I miss an appointment, they charge me $50, but when they cancel on you. Oh well. I took a day out of work, and they canceled with less than 24 hours notice. My brother switched dentists because they canceled multiple appointments.

I want to give a higher rating because I always have a good experience there while I am in the office, however, their staffing or scheduling system needs a lot of improvement. Already it is egregious to wait 6+ months for a dental cleaning appointment, then for you to be told that it has to be rescheduled because the hygienist is going to be out. Is there not some sort of temporary staffing system in place for these types of situations? Now we’re booking for next spring? It’s October!If a business is this busy, perhaps we need to consider upscaling the staffing to meet the consumers needs.
