These are amazing people. I cannot say it enough these people care about you. They actually have saved my life in my wife’s life. We all go to JPS Health system. I was born here in 1964 and I worked here in 1978. Yes, I was 14. They had to let me go when they found out, but I love this hospital. They’ve been very good to me. Thank you to the host staff to help me through my last illness and that is helping my wife today, I have so many names. I will come back on here and put some more names in here.
If only negative stars could be given I'm certain it would have a lot less than 2.9 stars currently. I was forcefully thrown out on to the bus stop across the street by two Fort Worth police officers or swore to uphold the law as they protect and serve! Only thing they serve is their wallets and protect is the ignorance of the employees within! I was on a recorder conversation with my lawyer about the accident that left me with my leg crushed. The nurse walked into my room at the beginning of her shift with numerous questions. I informed her 3 times that I was on a recorded line with my lawyer and only needed a few more minutes. To which she became irritated with each instance as though she had to be placed first. After the third time she vacated my room and returned with 2 officers that
1. If you go into JPS without insurance they will not accurately document anything that happens during your visits. There's no need to if there's no one (except you, a lowly uninsured patient) that needs proof of what happened. They know we can't get lawyers. 2. JPS standard of care is outdated and money-focused. I went under general anesthesia (i.e., I was intubated and given a muscle relaxant) for a very standard surgical procedure that I have had under MAC (or "twilight sleep"). There is NO need for general for this procedure. They do it this way because they can bill more for it. 3. No one can go after you for medical debt and it doesn't affect your credit score. No need to choose cheaper, worse care. Collections isn't scary, they just harrass for a little bit and you can tell them,
This is the worst hospital I have ever been to. The ER Dr and the hospital failed to provide adequate patient care. The treatment provide was not adequate enough to even keep a laceration closed which opened up less than an hour after my son was discharged. They missed that his left leg was showing swelling and did not do xray of his leg because they didn’t look at his legs at all. They didn’t even bother to clean the laceration prior to administering the liquid stitches. Liquid stitches were not adequate treatment and now we have to go to another hospital to receive the treatment he needs. Don’t take your loved ones to this hospital. There is no AC or ventilation and it was so hot in every area of the ER. Even the doors to the ER would not open to allow patients or their training staff in
Had 2 babies within 2 years. With my first, I made the fatal error of choosing JPS. With my second, I chose Baylor Scott and White all saints and had a wonderful experience despite not seeing an obgyn at their clinic. It was my fault for allowing JPS to induce me immediately after my water broke. I should have waited at least a few days to see if I would go into labor naturally (or gone to literally any other hospital). I still feel so much guilt for my first born being born earlier than what was medically necessary. JPS tried to push a c-section after 3 days of failed induction. 3 days of flooding my IV with pitocin and unnecessary antibiotics then having to stop every time the baby was in too much distress. They never listened to me when I, the mother, asked them to stop. They told me,
