John Muir Health Urgent Care Center

My Grandson was feeling poorly and had had a fever for 5 days. We were able to get an appointment on short notice. We checked right in, with no waiting. The medical assistant was kid-friendly and super efficient and Dr. Shapiro was awesome. She diagnosed the beginnings of pneumonia, which scared me. She prescribed some antibiotics and a fever reducer. We were in and out in a short period of time, feeling much more at ease. Thank God for the staff at John Muir Concord Urgent Care. Paul R.

Got there after 4pm. I didn't have an appointment and they close at 5pm. They looked for a way to get me in but told me, sorry. I was now forced to go to the emergency room. As I headed to the parking lot, the woman working the desk, chased after me and said someone just canceled. This is right before closing on a Saturday. I was very impressed and grateful.

This is by far the best urgent care I have ever been to! It’s clean, I never have to wait long when I have an appointment, and the staff is always very friendly! I have brought my two year old here a few times. Every time, I knew she was under the best care. Today was my turn and I was treated by Dr. Lewis. Dr. Lewis had lovely bedside manner, was super thorough, and I felt confident in her treatment plan. I wish I could have her as my primary care doctor! The lovely medical assistant Julia was super warm and made me feel at ease. Thanks again ladies for the awesome experience! :)

I was in respiratory stress ( Asthma); went on line and got a quick appointment. Pre- registered and prepared for my visit. Arrived early and was graciously acknowledged. Within minutes I was escorted to my room. Medical assistant took vitals and awaited doctor. Wonderful doctor who assessed my problem and directed MA to provided needed care. After breathing treatment , prescription referral made and also for chest x-ray. Great service by all and I really appreciate all that was provided. Thank you all so much!

Dr. Ankit Patel was extremely experienced, attentive, and thorough. The whole team was so kind and patient, even staying to see me as their last (and late!) patient. Wonderful care from start to finish!
