John Make Ray Jr

Wanted to see Dr Ray, unfortunately I was scheduled with the newly assigned nurse practitioner who is female. My medical needs were male oriented and I was told after the first visit I would see the doctor who is male. My follow up visit was scheduled with the same nurse practitioner. The front desk told me that my second visit would be with John however this wasn’t the case. The NP’s services were adequate, however I was very disappointed with the scheduling since I waited a year.

First off, don't google "John Ray, Jr, MD" - you will get the wrong address. It is NOT 1074 Southern Ave. I went to the address listed and was told no provider by that name worked there. When I called to get the right address I was told there is a 15 minute grace period. I was 2 minutes late. The parking lot was empty. The waiting room was empty. They still refused to see me. The next available appointment for a new patient is in 7 months. I should be grateful, I suppose, to find out the poor level of commitment they have to their patients well-being. They are more far committed to watching the clock than to my health care. I'm looking elsewhere for a primary doctor who actually cares about me.

Unfortunately I asked for help with an urgent cancer concern. Dr told me to call the front desk for an appointment. Called and was told it would be six weeks wrote I could be seen. I could be very seriously ill with cancer by then. The lack of concern over these symptoms by both the staff and the doctor is unconscionable
