Dr. John Carlisle is a superlative, highly skilled doctor and surgeon. In my interactions with him I found that he also provided me with excellent guidance and advise before and after surgery. Also, the entire staff at KCOA were very professional. The entire experience was exceptional.

I have had an amazing experience with Dr. Carlisle doing my ACL reconstruction. He listens to all your concerns, answers all your questions, and really cares about how you are doing! He does not rush his appointments and makes you feel like a priority. He backs his claims with information and stats rather than ego. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Carlisle was amazing throughout the entire course of treatment for a labral tear of my hip. He was extremely thorough during each phase from assessment and diagnosis to conservative treatment, surgical intervention, and post-op recovery. He was never rushed during visits and spent all the time I needed discussing findings, presenting various options available to me, and answering questions. Dr. Carlisle was a fantastic surgeon for my ACL reconstruction. He always made sure I knew the pros and cons of every decision I needed to make, while never making me feel pressured to do something a specific way. He made sure I was well informed and even drew me a picture of the surgery and what he was going to do. I felt comfortable every time I met with him and was confident he was putting me on the best path to return to “normal.” I didn’t get to pick him as my surgeon but I would definitely recommend him moving forward!
